About this workshop
Come with your person — a parent , a sibling, a friend, a partner, or anyone who matters to you.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore block printing on fabric, creating simple designs, carving them into small rubber stamps, and using them to print onto items like tea towels, fabric pieces, paper, and more. You’ll be making for yourself and for each other— small, thoughtful pieces that carry a bit more meaning because of who they’re for.
Glowfish workshops are small, intentional gatherings built around the idea that creativity isn’t something you earn — it’s something you uncover. The focus isn’t on getting it “right.” It’s on following an idea, seeing where it goes, and enjoying the process alongside someone else.
How we’ll spend our time
- A warm, low-key start to get settled in
- A few light prompts to help you connect — with your person and your own ideas (sharing always optional)
- A simple demo of block printing tools and techniques — just enough to get you going
- Plenty of open time to experiment, make, and create pieces for yourself and each other
- Optional shared moments woven throughout — small ways to connect, swap, or create together
- A relaxed wrap-up to see what everyone made, trade prints if you’d like, and hang out
