Bring The Verses Poetry Slam

Get ready for one of the most exciting nights in poetry!

Spotlight Poetry presents “Bring the Verses” Poetry Slam.

Sign-up list goes up @7:30p

Sign-up list closes @7:55p

Show starts @8:00p

Only 12 poets will compete so make sure you come early if you want to sign up to perform.

Slam will consist of three rounds and only one winner at the end!

Poets will need three different poems to compete in the Slam.

Poets will need one 5 minute poem, one 3 minute poem, and one 1 minute poem. Poets are allowed to be under time, but if a poet goes over the time limit they will be penalized in their score for that round.

The winner will receive $100 and the title champion of the Bring the Verses Slam!

Tickets are $10 per person and required a one drink minimum.

(Poets who perform will not have to pay admission. So poets make sure you get there on time!)
