Step into a day of creativity and connection as we build and paint a unique still life together! Each participant brings one object—something meaningful, eye-catching, or simply fun—to contribute to a shared display. Carolyn will transform these individual items into a cohesive, visually stunning still life arrangement, perfect for artistic exploration.
What We’ll Do:
👉 Set the Scene: Bring an item of your choice—anything from a colorful vase to a quirky trinket or a piece of fruit! Carolyn will curate these objects into a vibrant and balanced still life setup.
👉 Learn Together: Carolyn will guide you through watercolor techniques, including layering washes, capturing light and shadow, and adding fine details.
👉 Create Your Masterpiece: Spend the session painting your interpretation of the still life while receiving individualized feedback and tips.

Please note that our classes are typically held in the lower level of Arlene's. Because access to the lower level is available only by stair, please let us know if using the stairs presents any difficulty for you in advance of the class so we can make alternate arrangements. We want to make sure everyone is able to enjoy and participate in our classes.
