BeGenerous Inc. and the Walton County Overdose Prevention Task Force invites you to Bring It to the Light Night, where we will gather as “One Big Family Driven by Hope" to remember lives lost, raise awareness and come together as a community.Bring It to the Light Night is an International Overdose Awareness Day event designed to honor those we’ve lost, support those still fighting and bring light to the reality of overdose in our community. This event will include speakers, community partners and will conclude with a family-friendly candlelit vigil walk around the DeFuniak Springs Lakeyard.
Addiction touches everyone. Whether you’ve been directly affected or know someone who has, this night is for YOU. We stand united to break the stigma and shame surrounding addiction and offer hope for healing. Narcan, hands-on Narcan training and helpful resources will be provided by our local community partners to support individuals and families throughout the evening
Our community is about to be LIT UP with hope. Together, we will shift the atmosphere and bring lasting change. But we need YOUR help to make this possible.
