Discover how to successfully propagate bougainvillea with expert guidance from Calvin Zeng. With many years in the nursery industry, Calvin specialized in cultivating bougainvilleas and gardenias, leaving his vibrant signature across landscapes throughout the island. His gardenia classes at the Arboretum have been highly popular, and now he is excited to share his deep knowledge of bougainvillea.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn step-by-step propagation techniques to grow strong, healthy plants and bring even more of these colorful favorites into your own garden.
Participants will be able to take home a FREE plant at the end of the class!

Time: 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Location: Lyon Arboretum Education Department - Children's Learning Center Classroom
Cost: $45.00
All proceeds from the class will go to the Lyon Arboretum Education Department School Tours program.
General tickets go on sale from February 27th.
