About this Event
"Lorca y el Duende" is a 2.5 hour bilingual, generative poetry workshop that employs Anadlusian poet Federico GarcĂa Lorca's concept of duende: the spirit of evocation, "a state of tragedy-inspired ecstasy".
Poets of all experience levels are welcome. Just bring a notebook.
Food will be served.
All participants will receive a free book of poetry, courtesy of Open Books Pilsen.
Facilitator is bilingual (English, Spanish). Prompts will be offered in both languages.
Because space is limited, once all seats are filled the waitlist will open. If a seat becomes available, notifications will be made by email.
