Love drag? And space? We have a night for you!
Join the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre and legendary local drag kings and things Rose Butch (insta: @rose.butch), Mx Bukuru (insta: @mx.bukuru) and Theo Rhetical (insta: @theo.thetical) for a dazzling night of drag in space, hosted by Scout Supernova (insta: @milygrams). With out of this world performances, and immersive dome video by multimedia producer Mily Mumford (aka Scout Supernova) accompanying each number in the Planetarium Star Theatre, Bright Lights will transport you to another universe of drag splendor. Tips for performers are welcome!
In addition to the show in the Planetarium there will be time to grab a drink, enjoy some music and take part in a scavenger hunt of LGBTQ2+ astronauts and scientists in our Cosmic Courtyard gallery.
Wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
**In-person attendees must be 19+. Two pieces of valid ID must be shown for entry.**

ID REQUIRED FOR ENTRY
This is a 19+ event where alcohol will be served.
All visitors attending the event must present two pieces of ID at the front desk before entering.
ID must be presented whether or not you plan to drink.
Acceptable ID’s include
1) A piece of government issued photo ID (includes name, photo and date of birth)
2) A valid second piece of ID with your first and last name on it (i.e. any of the above or a debit/credit card)

PARKING
Ample paid parking is available in front of the Space Centre building (Parking Lot #60 on the ZipBy app).
Please note the parking lot and its prices and services are managed by Easy Park.

The H.R. MacMillan Space Centre Society, also known as the Planetarium, has been British Columbia’s premier space science attraction since its doors opened in 1968.
