About this Event

What Is the Bright Ideas Lab?

Do you have an idea for an enterprise or project that keeps circling in your head—but you’re not quite sure if it will work, where to start, or how to talk about it?

Bright Ideas Lab is a hands-on, creative workshop that helps you take that idea out of your head and onto paper—so you can see it clearly, explore it from different perspectives, and take confident next steps toward making it a reality.

Talking about an idea and visualising it are often the most powerful first steps.

This workshop gives you a safe, supportive space to do exactly that, with guidance from a seasoned business mentor and insight from like-minded peers.

If you’ve had an idea quietly nudging you for a while, Bright Ideas Lab will help you make 2026 the year you step outside your comfort zone and move it forward.

What to Expect 👇

This is not a traditional business workshop. It’s a facilitated space that gives you room to use creativity to explore and grow your idea.

You’ll be guided through a clear process using interactive, creative tools and activities designed to:

  • Inspire fresh thinking
  • Unlock clarity
  • Build confidence
  • Help you move from idea to action

You’ll bring your own idea to work on and grow in confidence and clarity through encouragement and reflection via peer feedback and creative exercises.

We use creativity and creative thinking techniques to provide a fun and innovative way to access your thinking and, as a previous attendee explained, "Creativity removes some of the barriers to thinking through an idea.”

At the end of the workshop, you will take away:

  • Visual interpretations of your idea
  • Greater clarity on whether it could work and how it might evolve
  • A simple one-page business or project plan with next steps
  • Renewed confidence to talk about and grow your idea
  • A sense of connection, encouragement and support

Is this workshop for me?

Yes, if:

  • You want your work to have purpose and are curious about starting something of your own - are you sitting with a seed of an idea, wondering if it’s “good enough”?
  • You’re exploring an early-stage idea for a purpose-driven enterprise, creative project or values-led business
  • You feel a bit stuck, alone in the thinking or unsure where to begin, or hesitant to talk about your idea
  • You enjoy creative, hands-on thinking and want support to shape your idea, build confidence, and move your idea towards becoming a reality in 2026

How does it work? 👇

Using the Think Yellow creative mindset framework, you will be guided through a series of creative, interactive and reflective activities that will help you bring your idea to life.

This half day session is facilitated to give you time and space to:

  • Release your creativity
  • Visualise your idea
  • Clarify purpose, values and impact
  • Understanding who your idea is for and why it matters
  • Test and shape your idea
  • Turn ideas into actions

All activities are inclusive, accessible and supportive. You will benefit from time to play with your idea in a variety of ways and be inspired by others, feeling encouraged and motivated to take the next steps.

“It’s a warm, supportive, creative space with structure, focus and accountability.”

Spaces are limited to keep the workshop interactive and personal.
