We are the new home of Bridgnorth Jazz 🎷This month we see a return visit to The Garden Bar for the Tom Hill Trio .Tom is a highly respected and talented Midlands double base player and together with Keith perform at many prestigious venues around the Midlands. Ben Kempner on drums is a local Bridgnorth boy and graduate of the Birmingham conservatoire. 🥁
Bridgnorth local Sally Jones will sing from the Peggy Lee song book. Sally is a highly accomplished singer recently returned from Argentina where she has likely been presenting her show on Edith Piaf. In April though she will be singing Peggy Lee. Peggy was a singer /composer/ actress and much like Sinatra she did things ‘Her Way’.Frank Sinatra, Count Basie, Duke Ellington all regarded her as Jazz royalty. 👑
