About this Event
Join us for a speaker's bureau of personal stories shared by individuals who have navigated various challenges with mental illness. These speakers, ranging from those with lived experiences to family members to mental health advocates, offer powerful testimonials that highlight the diversity of mental health experiences and the importance of community.
Before and after the personal stories, attendees have the opportunity to explore a resource fair. The fair will feature a wide array of booths and informational tables staffed by mental health professionals, local support groups, and organizations offering resources such as counseling services, educational materials, and practical information and connections to further support.
Through this event, we aim to educate around mental illness, empower individuals with resources, and encourage your action in helping us change the mental health care landscape.
Refreshments provided.
