Step Into the World of SomniumSomnium is a multimedia art festival that delves into the surrealist world of dreams through art installation, light projection, music, puppets and storytelling, dance, video, and flow arts. Combining the collaborative masterwork of artists from around the world, Somnium is an immersive and multi-sensory experience that transforms reality.
Somnium 2024— One Weekend Only! Sinnissippi Park
Now in its third year, Mentes Extremófilas presents Somnium: The Book of the Forest Lament, an exploration of the future of our planet and biosphere, among the trees of the Rockford Park District’s beautiful Sinnissippi Park. Encounter the demented, the invented, the delightful, and the distorted world of life beyond the future we can imagine.
Somnium the production expands this year to include art vendors, food, live music, interactive exhibits, experiences and workshops for all ages. Festival activities will happen daily and continue through sunset. Production begins after dark.
