Let’s Talk Talent is an informal, conversation-led event designed to bring employers and students together. A chance to meet students and have genuine conversations about your business and future opportunities.

Start the morning with FREE breakfast & refreshments and connect with other local employers in a really easy, informal setting.
💡 Gen Z insights
Get a clearer picture of how students are actually finding and applying for jobs - what’s working, what’s not, and what might be putting them off.
✨ Careers fair-style showcase
You’ll have space to set up, bring banners or materials, and chat to students about what you do. It’s all about helping them understand your business and having real conversations about potential opportunities.
🎯 Who it’s for
This is for employers who are keen to get in front of Gateshead College students and are open to offering opportunities in the 2026/27 academic year, such as:
- Work experience placements
- Apprenticeships
- Project-based work
- Summer roles
- Guest Speaking
You don’t need everything confirmed, our team will be able to chat through any opportunities with you!

What do I need to bring?
Just bring yourself, plus anything you’d like to use to showcase your organisation - banners, leaflets, or even a few giveaways. Most importantly, come ready to chat about what you do and any opportunities you might have.
