It is with great delight that I inform you of a most splendid occasion set to grace Lincoln County Assembly Rooms this spring. On the 5th of April 2025, the esteemed Bridgerton-style Ball shall make its triumphant return, promising an evening of elegance, charm, and perhaps, a few delightful whispers.
The festivities begin long before the main event. For those wishing to indulge in the finest of Regency customs, a delectable Afternoon Tea will be served at both 12pm and 2:15pm, a perfect prelude to the day's entertainments. Those seeking to perfect their form on the dance floor may avail themselves of Dance Lessons at either 2pm or 4pm, for what better way to impress than with the grace of a well-executed waltz?
As evening descends, the true magic begins. The Grand Ball shall commence at 7pm, whereupon the finest of Lincoln’s society will gather under glittering chandeliers to dance the night away. For those with a taste for grandeur, Horse and Carriage Rides will be available from 7pm to 9pm, departing from the Assembly Rooms and taking guests on a charming journey around Lincoln’s Bailgate and past the magnificent Cathedral.
The night will draw to a close as the clock strikes twelve, but until then, I trust you will revel in the splendor of the occasion. Regency dress is, of course, most highly encouraged, as no one wishes to be the subject of gossip for a poorly chosen ensemble.
Until then, dearest reader, I remain your faithful servant in all matters of fashion and society.
Yours ever,
Lady Whistledown
