The 2024 Bridgeport Art Trail launches the RICKY award, the Ricky Mestre Artist Serving Community Award.
There are continual examples of Bridgeport Art Trail artists who actualize this goal year after year. Ricky is a true inspiration, realizing his vision, creativity, passion and talent 14+ years to benefit Greater Bridgeport, CT.

In an effort to develop a more deliberate attempt to support artists who serve the community through their art, the 2024 BAT initiates this annual award that reflects the mission "to serve the community through art", This is the mission of City Lights & Company, the nonprofit also known as City Lights Gallery/Bridgeport Art Trail, the organization that initiated and produces annually the Bridgeport Art Trail for 16 years.
