Remnants of Nova
directed by James Barker (U.S.)
As Dani, an up-and-coming queer artist, anxiously prepares for her first live show, her partner and lead guitarist, Nova, drops out of their band.
Beige (Episode 1)
directed by Edward Soto (U.S.)
Beige is a web series that follows Rob Soto, a stand-up comic who has just gotten out of a mental health facility and tries to reconnect with his family, career, and himself. Rob feels that he is too light-skinned for the black community he grew up around, but too black for the rest of the world, so he considers himself a Beige man. Beige looks into the intersection between race and mental health as Rob navigates the world.
