About Sean
Sean Williams is currently living and working in Chicago, the Evanston-born and raised artist’s work spans painting, illustration, digital media, apparel and collectible objects, blending a playful and recognizable visual language with deeper, more complex themes of death, memory, identity, and self-inquiry. Put simply, he says," I make whatever I want. I always have, and I always will. Everything else is noise."

The City of Evanston, in partnership with The Lincoln Company, is pleased to announce a new Bridge@909 exhibition featuring the work of Sean Williams), an Evanston-born artist, a multidisciplinary artist and designer working through WEIRDWILDWORLD; an evolving universe built around the expression of creativity in all forms, with an emphasis on character design, animation, and storytelling.
Bridge at 909 is the City of Evanston’s rotating exhibition program located at 909 Davis Street, transforming a prominent downtown lobby into an accessible public-facing arts space. The initiative provides professional visibility for artists, particularly Evanston-connected creatives. We do this while bringing contemporary art directly into the daily life of residents, workers, and visitors.
