About this Event
For the Every Woman Biennial, a group of women-artists, directed by Coco Karol, will use dance and music to activate the BRICK X BRICK jumpsuits originally created by Andrea Lauer, Nikki Juen, and Sarah Sandman as a performative protest and response to misogyny. Performers wear, move and transform brick-patterned jumpsuits bearing statements of misogynistic violence made by Donald Trump–– both confronting misogyny while exhibiting the power of connection, care, and joy. Music performed live by Morley. A facilitated discussion will follow the performance, intended as a space to process and heal.
