About this Event
On Friday 27th March, from 12:00pm to 4:30pm, we're bringing together organisations from across Brent for a practical and collaborative half-day session focused on stregnthening our shared resilience. Lunch will be available from 12:00pm, with presentations beginning at 12:45pm.
Across the afternoon, attendees will gain a clearer picture of how emergency response operates in Brent, the role of different responders, and how organisations of all types can play an active part in preparedness. You’ll be introduced to new local tools, including the CVS Brent Community Resilience Website , offering practical guidance on local risks, continuity planning, and day‑to‑day resilience building.
The event will also highlight community‑focused resilience projects and provide a chance to explore real‑world challenges through an accessible scenario activity. No prior experience is needed — the exercise is designed to support learning and confidence-building.
Above all, this session is about working together. By connecting BRF members and wider partners in one space, we can make better use of our combined knowledge, expertise and opportunities. Stronger partnerships mean a stronger borough — improving our ability to support residents and organisations before, during, and after emergencies.
We’ll close with time for discussion, shared learning and networking, giving attendees the chance to shape future BRF engagement and identify areas for collaboration.
This free event is open to invited partners. Please register to secure your place. We look forward to working with you to build a more resilient Brent.
