The evening will begin with a cocktail reception, offering guests the opportunity to gather and enjoy conversation within the historic setting of the Marston House. During this time, copies of The Design and Manufacturing of Historic Millwork from 1740–1950 by Brent Hull will be available for purchase.
The reception will be followed by a lecture by Hull, exploring the design principles, craftsmanship, and classical traditions that have shaped architectural millwork from the eighteenth through the mid-twentieth century.
Following the lecture, guests are invited to remain for a book signing and continued conversation with the author, extending the evening in the spirit of shared inquiry, craftsmanship, and architectural tradition.
