Brent Community for Change - Ending Violence Against Women and Girls

Brent Council is hosting a community event on Women & Girls Safety, open to all residents, to foster dialogue and address concerns about safety whether this is in online or public spaces and homes. The event will feature a panel discussion with speakers, including local policing colleagues, gender violence experts and community leaders. Panellists will discuss topics such as preventing violence, public safety and support services for survivors.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session, where they can raise issues or suggest ways to improve safety measures. Refreshments and food will be provided, giving residents the chance to engage informally with speakers and community members. The event encourages dialogue across all sectors of the community, reinforcing the collective responsibility to enhance women’s safety.
