Adelaide!! It’s my first home town show for 2026. I’ll be joined by these awesome artists:
James Brook and L’Roy (Naarm/Melb):
James Brook plays an alt folk/ folk punk style. Wearing his heart on his sleeve, his set ranges from political anthems, to more sensitive folk moods, exploring Australian history, and the deeper emotions that life on the edge can expose. Combing activism and music,
James has toured extensively in Europe and Australia, releasing 11 albums and 4 EP’s about his experiences. He has fronted bands Boarding Party, Skreechtramps and the European based punk band Ecowar, as well as his solo work. He also is a member of the
folk punk group The Currency. A new solo album released in 2025 showcases his most polished and mature material to date. James is touring Australia this autumn promoting the latest video from his 2025 "Yandoit" album. This year he has a crewmate: L'ROY will be adding his moody electric guitar crunch and vocals to boost the show.

Hailing from Tarparrie (Port Pirie), but definitely no stranger to the Adelaide punk scene, Vinez encompasses everything Folk Punk is about with a combination of talent, angst, humour and a true DIY attitude. His catchy songs of personal stories, political observations and self deprecation, will have you singing them long after his set is over.
