Pranayama, a cycle of inhalations and exhalations bringing the life force energy within the body. An ancient practice used for various purposes to bring the body into a state of transcendence. Just like we practice yoga, pranayama has it's uses to bring the mind into alignment, aiding the mind when there is need for balance. In Ayurveda, the mind has four aspects: Chitta, Buddhi, Ahamkar and Manas. Pranayama is a practice that unites all four aspects to transcend into a state of Pure Consciousness. This peak state is known to feel "light, blissful, exciting, energizing, and eye opening", those that have experienced this state say that it calmed their mind and awakened their body. No experience is necessary to join this class, as you come there will be a few minutes to discuss the practice before we begin, and a few minutes at the end to rest in the awareness.
About Hali:
Hali is the guide whom found breathwork in 2019 when she was going through a season of confusion. What the practice of breathwork provided for her was an easy method to release stress and over-thinking and brought clarity. The simple techniques that pranayama provide are easy to implement and that's just what Hali needed. Fall of 2019, Hali took a 8-week Breathwork certification and started teaching 1on1 classes over Zoom. Now providing in-person classes, Hali utilizes healing music, mantras, and breathwork techniques to create a one of a kind experience to awaken all the senses.
