Join us in one of San Diego's most beautiful parks overlooking the water for an expansive time with breathwork and reiki energy healing.
There are many different ways to practice Breathwork. What we will be doing is a technique called “Cosmic breathing.” This is a sacred Himalayan kundalini pranayama technique initiated from a master Himalayan kundalini and kriya yoga teacher - Anand Mehrotra - who is a descendant within the lineage of Paramahansa Yogananda.
This breath promotes deep cellular healing, cleansing, releasing, and activation within the body. It is able to rewire any karmic patterns. Karmic patterns are self-defeating patterns that keep repeating and keep you blocked from accessing happiness and your full potential and Dharma (or life purpose). Laura will be leading the breathwork portion of the event.

What to expect:
No one Breathwork ceremony will ever be the same! Each time you do it, you will have a different experience. It will always be exactly what you need at that time. You may expect things such as:

hot / cold
yawning
insights
a deeper connection to the Divine

What is Reiki Energy Healing?
Chloe will be offering reiki healing energy as you go through this transformational breathwork journey. Reiki can be offered hands on or hands off. Reiki is a form of alternative therapy that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. The word "Reiki" is derived from Japanese words: "rei," meaning universal, and "ki," meaning life energy or vital force. Reiki is often described as a holistic healing technique that aims to balance and harmonize the energy in the body.
Practitioners of Reiki believe that there is a universal life force energy that flows through all living beings. This energy is thought to be responsible for a person's well-being and vitality. In a Reiki session, the practitioner uses their hands to channel this energy into the recipient, either by lightly touching or hovering their hands over the body. The goal is to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and facilitate the body's natural healing processes.
Reiki is based on the idea that if the flow of energy in the body is disrupted or blocked, it can lead to physical, emotional, or spiritual imbalances. By channeling and directing the universal life force energy, Reiki practitioners aim to remove blockages and restore balance, allowing the recipient to experience a sense of peace, relaxation, and overall well-being.
About your facilitators:
Laura Hoff - Retreat Leader, Kundalini Yoga Instructor, Breathwork Facilitator, Reiki Master
Laura Hoff (Gauri Kund) is a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor (400 hr), completing both Level 1 training as well as 2 different Level 2 trainings on the topics of ‘Vitality and Stress’ and ‘Authentic Relationships.’ In addition, she’s certified in Kundalini yoga for addictions.
She currently teaches Kundalini Yoga at a Women’s Addiction Recovery center and mental health facility in North County San Diego.
Her passion and purpose is to help others out of their suffering and to bring them to the true essence of their soul and their true nature.
Another one of her passions is researching Autism and neurodivergence, after receiving a late diagnosis at the age of 37. By learning more about this, she loves to help others who are finding out they too are neurodivergent and for those to know that there are positive solutions and ways to create more peace in their lives. In addition to being a yoga teacher, she also is a Sekhem Reiki Master and sees clients for Reiki energy healing, makes custom designed malas, leads breathwork ceremonies, and Spiritual retreats for women.

Chloe Sweig - Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master and Retreat Assistant
Native to San Diego, Chloe is a math and science educator with middle school and high school students. Currently she is pursuing her masters in teaching math and science at SDSU. Chloe is also a Hatha yoga instructor. She received her 200 hour YTT from the Soul of Yoga in 2017. She also is a Sekhem reiki practitioner. Art plays a large part in her life as she is an artist with a passion for creating with watercolors, acrylics and oils. Music has also been a large part of her life as she plays the classical and native flutes. She enjoys blending all of these interests into the way she holds space for those in her yoga classes providing musical melodies, sound and reiki in her teachings.
