Breathwork & Sound CircleThis session forms part of our Women’s Wellbeing Pilot (21 Feb – 18 July 2026), supported by The National Lottery Community Fund. £5 subsidised places are available.
This session is a guided, participatory circle that brings together breath, rhythm, and sound in a gentle, grounded way.
We will begin with around ten minutes of clear coaching, introducing simple breathing practices and how to use the instruments.
This is not about musical ability or performance. It is about awareness, pacing, and listening to the body.
Participants will then sit in a circle, each with a simple instrument, and be guided to breathe while gently playing. Sound is used to support rhythm and presence, not to lead or overwhelm. Breath remains the focus throughout this phase, with steady guidance from facilitators.
After the breathing phase, instruments are set aside. Participants are invited to rest while sound continues softly, allowing the body to settle and integrate, without this becoming a sound bath.
What to expect:
Short, supportive coaching at the start.
Guided breathing with optional, gentle use of instruments.
Ongoing facilitation and clear structure.
A calm transition into rest and listening.
No pressure.
This session is designed to support nervous system regulation, connection, and embodied awareness in a safe, contained environment.
Suitable for beginners and those looking for a grounded, participatory experience rather than a passive sound session.
Exchange for the evening is £15
