About this Event
Join us for this special holiday breathwork journey! We will offer pure, ceremonial grade cacao (always optional) which is known for its heart-opening properties and has been used in spiritual and healing ceremonies for centuries, particularly by indigenous cultures in Central and South America. The act of consuming cacao can serve as a powerful tool for setting intentions for the breathwork journey, helping to focus and align your energies towards your goals. It is also a heart opener, which naturally allows for depth, kindness and connection.
In this Breathwork journey, we will cover 3 different types of breathing: 360 breath (the foundational element of all breathwork), breath for vagus nerve activation (calms the nervous system), and circular or concious connected breath (a powerful breath modality that engages your innate ability to heal and sweep out defenses, blockages, restrictions, or pains that hold you back from who you are and how you want to show up in this world). From there, you will be led through a beautiful breathwork journey that will incorporate all of these techniques into one beautiful flow. No previous breathwork experience is required to attend this session. All levels will benefit, and be encouraged to move at paces that are comfortable.
This class will be led by KALO Co-Owner, Jourdan Baldwin, who has extensive practice with many different breathwork techniques from her yoga teacher training, XPT certification and coaching/mentorships in somatic processing, concious connected breathwork & the nervous system. Jourdan creates beautiful sound journeys designed around tempo, deep emotional connection and harmony within oneself. This combined with the breathwork creates a truly impactful experience.
*THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A KALO MEMBER TO ATTEND. HOWEVER IF YOU ARE A KALO MEMBER, PLEASE FIND THE KALO MEMBER PRICE AT CHECKOUT.
