About this Event

During this 2-part 90 minute pranayama course you will learn 8 types of breathing exercises. We will cover foundational breathing as well as calming and fiery breathing. We will learn each breath and then spend time in accessible yoga postures experiencing the breath firsthand. The goal is for you to walk away with a daily breathing practice, which can deepen your connection to self, improve your yoga and meditation practice, help raise energy levels and manage stress.
This workshop will be led by Sophia Jha. She completed her 200 hour Hatha Yoga teacher training in Mysore, India with Bharath Shetty who trained with world-renowned yoga teacher B.K.S. Iyengar. Sophia is continuing to honor the Indian lineage of Yoga with her advanced 300 hour training at Kripalu. Her goal is to help students experience the ancient wisdom of Yoga and lead them on their journey to find healing, power and peace within.
