In a world surrounded by the constant pressure and stress of daily life, an increasing number of us are starting to feel the negative impacts of this stress upon our immune systems, which in turn is creating a constant imbalance in our bodies. The answer lies in correcting this imbalance, and mindfulness can help everyone in achieving this goal. By practicing mindfulness one can help defuse negativity, aggression and turbulent emotions.
Breathing isn’t really something that you do, but something that you witness as it happens. Breathing happens by itself there is no strain or effort involved. All you have to do is watch it happening. Being aware of your breathing takes attention away from thinking and creates space. It is one way of generating consciousness.
Being aware of your breath forces you into the present moment – whenever you are aware of your breathing you are absolutely present.
Through the art of meditation one can learn that the correct posture not only helps form a more inspiring environment but, it also alleviates stress and promotes relaxation both physically and mentally. A connection exists between the posture of the body and the attitude of the mind. Mind and body are interrelated; the inner energy or 'Chi' arises naturally once your posture and attitude are inspired. Practice with bodily correct posture and right inner environment to re-discover your nature self.
This kind of practice is powerful because people can do it without any belief system or religious feeling. Yet, you try to introduce it with a very strong moral base. From that base you can have the awareness that experiences calm, clarity, sensitivity, and an understanding about yourself and about your life.
Through developing and understanding these significant elements and how they can influence our actions and choices, it is then possible to unlock our own lives and handle challenging emotions so that they don't overpower us. Poor health, demeaning career, or destructive relationships are all damaging situations that must be and can be unconditionally overcome.
The Real Glory of Meditation
Mindfulness lies not i any method but in its continual living experience of presence, in its bliss, clarity, peace, and most important of all, complete absence of grasping. The diminishing of grasping in yourself is a sign that you are becoming more free of yourself.

Master Simon Lau CV
Master Lau was born in China and educated by Buddhist monks from a young age. Throughout his early life in Hong Kong, he was steeped in the traditional values of Chinese culture and Qigong, providing a foundation which he has spent his life cultivating.
Master Lau pioneered the development of Qigong in the West, being the first to teach Qigong in the UK. He has taught thousands of students from his base in London while also traveling and teaching internationally.
He is a sincere practitioner of Qigong, Chinese Astrology, and a licensed Herbal Medicine Doctor.
The Simon Lau Centre was established in 1990, with a Centre in Sweden established in 1995. Known as a Centre of Excellence and traditional values, Master Lau has dedicated his life to the physical, emotional and spiritual development of his students.
