"Breathing Together" aims to foster lung health and overall community wellbeing through expert talks, practical exercises, and a peaceful, guided walk.
<h4>What to Expect</h4>Our event will commence with a warm welcome and a refreshing brew at 10:30 AM at the Park Lodge House, offering you a chance to mingle and settle in. Following this, Heather Henry from BreathChamps, an expert in community breathing knowledge, will deliver an enlightening 30-minute talk on lung health. You'll learn valuable breathing techniques and first aid for asthma, equipping you with knowledge to support yourself and others effectively.
Afterward, embark on a gentle, guided walk led by Heather along with Jolene Sheehan of Joy Ethic. Tailored to accommodate all paces and abilities, this walk encourages connection, sharing, and learning in a nurturing environment. It's a fantastic opportunity to enhance your wellbeing, stimulate ongoing physical activity, and engage with your community.
- Starting Point: The Park Lodge, Alexandra Park, entrance off Claremont Rd West, Whalley Range.
- Time: Brew and mingle at 10:15 AM, followed by 30 min talk and 30 min leisurely walk
