Hey, I’m Tony Fonte, and I know what you are feeling! I know what it’s like to be at war within, battling that anger on your own.

Stuffing it down, blowing it off, repressing it, suppressing it, distracting myself from it, and numbing it out.

Trying to show up the way I wanted, only to fall short. Only to fail my daughter yet again.

Wanting to be the best man and dad I could be, but feeling helpless having tried so many different ways to overcome.

Feeling the guilt and shame compound daily as the storm of anger left a wake of destruction in its path.

Feeling hopeless and destined to be angry my whole life. Thinking maybe having a good life wasn’t in the cards for me. Maybe being the dad I wanted to be wasn’t going to happen.

Maybe anger was just my reality and I just had to accept it.

Ready to give up and throw the towel in.

I know what it’s like because I have been in the depths of that HELL.

I also know what it’s like to overcome anger and come out on the other side, becoming the best man and dad I can possibly be, feeling an inner peace I never thought possible, and being able to have fun on the journey.
