About this Event

Help CYS Build Brighter Tomorrows!

CYS invites you to attend Breaking the Cycle, Building Brighter Tomorrows, a meaningful community event dedicated to healing, connection, and hope. This special fundraiser supports CYS counseling and community-based services that help children and families across the Central Valley overcome the impacts of trauma to build healthier, more resilient futures.

Guests will enjoy live music by Erick Tyler, whose uplifting sound creates an atmosphere of connection and celebration. A highlight of the evening will be a silent auction featuring an original custom clay sculpture by local artist Margaret Hudson, whose work reflects themes of resilience, human connection, and healing.

The night will include an engaging, interactive experience at our Canvas of Hope creative table, where guests can express their support for breaking cycles of generational trauma through art. Attendees will be able to create their own small canvas using provided supplies, reflecting messages of healing, resilience, or hope for future generations. Everyone will be encouraged to share their creations on social media to help spread awareness of CYS’ mission and the importance of community support in building brighter tomorrows. Together, through music, art, and shared purpose, this evening celebrates the power of community to support healing and create lasting change for children and families.
