Breaking into Fashion Photography Workshop with Aliona Kuznetsova

Ever wonder how to get your photographs published in fashion magazines?

Join Aliona Kuznetsova, a San Francisco photographer originally from Ukraine and fellow photographers for a live event. Aliona will share her professional experience to help guide you to getting your photography into magazines and get paid for it.

Aliona Kuznetsova is a fine-art, portrait, and fashion photographer based in San Francisco. She spends her time working with fashion brands, publishing in magazines, producing work for Gallery House art gallery.

This seminar - Breaking Into Fashion - designed for photographers who are already confidently shooting portraits and possibly working with hobby-models in spontaneous shoots of a more fashionable direction. The lecture provides a step-by-step plan for taking you to the next level if you want to move in the direction of fashion.

Workshop Details:

Workshop will take place from 5:30 pm to 7pm.

Private portfolio review from 7pm to 8pm.

Due to COVID, space is limited to 20 people for seminar and 10 for portfolio review.

Aliona Kuznetzova started her blog a couple of years ago in order to structure the knowledge she accumulated being a self-taught photographer over the last 13 years. This was a journey from taking her first photo with Canon 350D as an engineering student to shooting countless portrait sessions as a young entrepreneur in Moscow, to working for Vogue Italia, Marie Clair, and Elle Swiss in Geneva, to showing her art in New York and finally becoming a gallery member in Silicon Valley.

In the Autumn of 2019, she gave her first big lecture (a bit over 200 people joined her) in the School of Photography in my hometown, Kyiv.

“I loved the attention of course, but I also loved giving back to the community. I felt like in the small way I help to restructure the photo industry to be more accommodating to people like me - someone who is quiet, introverted, creative, and hard-working."
