About this Event
Join us at the next Breaking Bread for a conversation with our Indigenous community.
Indigenous leadership in our community have prepared a powerful testimony and description of the joy that fills their community. In the midst of centuries of pain, these people have found ways to celebrate life, mend the broken, and restore the wandering.
The OK Justice Circle, a group of faith and community leaders focused on social justice reform in Oklahoma, invites you to our next Breaking Bread Lunch. This in-person event is in partnership with OKC Community Advocates and Act Now, is organized for leaders from all communities to gather around tables to participate in a very important conversation about race, institutional bias, and the ways in which race factors into the brokenness of our community.
Lunch will be served. There is NO CHARGE but registration is required.
Registration opens at 10:45AM---Lunch opens at 11AM.
Program starts at 11:30AM and we would like everyone seated and ready to go at that time.
