About this Event
Join us for an inspiring storytelling and Q&A session featuring Delores Johnson Hurt, who will reflect on her journey as one of the first African American students at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. She will also share insights from her leadership in civic organizations, like the League of Women Voters of Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Ms. Hurt’s is also a retired journalist and schoolteacher.
The program will feature a pop-up exhibit and campfire style Q&A moderated by Johnson C. Smith University's students and staff.
