Following a buffet breakfast ($10) and brief club business, we are pleased to welcome Deborah Harman as the speaker. She serves as Director of Student Support Services for Brown County Schools and will provide an overview of Brown County’s Childhood Education Program and its Infant/Toddler Expansion Project.
Using a $500,000 grant from the Lilly Endowment Inc.’s Early Years Initiative, a $250,000 grant from the Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative 2.0 program, and a $75,000 donation from the Brown County Community Foundation, the Early Education Center will expand to include high-quality care and education for eight infants and ten young toddlers in addition to providing Early Childhood Education students at Brown County High School dual credit at Ivy Tech toward a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
