Join us at Banana Yoga for an exciting event filled with all things bread! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned baker, this in-person event is perfect for anyone looking to expand their bread knowledge skills.
This class will explore ancient grains, those close relatives of modern wheat that offer a window into the millenia-long relationship humans have had with the wheat family of crops. We'll take a look at their respective histories, nutritional profiles, and how they tend to affect bread baking. Students will get a chance to mill their own flour from them at the end of class!
About the instructor: Mark Boyden has been a professional baker for over 12 years. He currently bakes for Fournée in Berkeley.
