Get ready for a summer packed with outdoor adventures, creativity, exploration, and nonstop fun at Brackenridge Recreation Complex! Our 2026 Summer Camps are designed to get kids outside, learning, and making memories they’ll never forget.
🌲 WILDERNESS CAMP | Ages 9–12
💲 $100 per camper
📅 Session 1: June 16–18
📅 Session 2: June 23–25
Young explorers will dive into the great outdoors with hands-on adventures including kayaking, basic navigation, fishing, wildlife education, and shoreline exploration at Lake Texana. Campers will learn about local ecosystems, discover freshwater creatures, and build essential outdoor skills.
🐾 KIDDIE CAMP | Ages 5–8
💲 $60 per camper
📅 Session 1: July 21–23
📅 Session 2: July 28–30
Our Kiddie Camp is perfect for curious young nature lovers! Campers will explore wildlife and the environment through playful, clue-based adventures, hands-on activities, and imaginative outdoor fun. Each day brings new discoveries, simple mysteries to solve, and exciting nature investigations.

Single-day adventures packed with creativity, learning, and summer fun. From outdoor art and junior chef challenges to fishing skills, wild science experiments, and an epic Kids vs. Staff showdown to wrap up the summer!
