🗓️ Saturday March 14th, 5-8 pm, we’re continuing our new format for Progress Checks so that ALL levels can come out and experience the process together. 😍

Here’s what the evening will look like
💛 5 pm: Intermediate Fast Paced Challenge Class (Built for Plus students Progressing into Level 2)
💚 6-8 pm: Feedback Rounds & Practica
💙 During Feedback Rounds:
· Class participants who are looking for feedback rotate and social dance
· Foundations students, and any others, can come into practice at this time
- anyone who participated in class can receive feedback at this time, if they wish to, but it’s not a requirement if you just want to attend class and enjoy dancing without feedback or moving up levels, that’s ok too
🧡 During Practica:
· Foundations students will schedule a meeting slot with Ashley or Elena in advance (20 min slot) these are only 4 limited slots from 6:40 pm until 8 pm… first come first serve! ⚠️ (we’ll add more another day, if necessary)
· Several teachers will be there to help with Foundations, feedback and social dancing/practice rounds
In order to progress into Level 3, you are welcome to join class and receive feedback, but you will ALSO need to schedule a personalized audition with Elijah and Elena, to showcase the movements and techniques required for Level 3… this is where we’re getting into advanced moves that require more safety and trust 🙏

🌅 Monday March 23rd is the start of our new Progressive Foundations round (Brick Module A,part 2) at 7 pm And Zouk Plus Progressive Classes (Brick Module B, part 2) at 8:20 pm

🌄 We will NOT continue our Drop in Plus Class at 7 pm And Drop in Beginners Class at 8:20 pm, so in their place, we will have an Open House on Monday 3/16 and additional Drop in Workshops intermittently on the weekends and a couple Mondays at 8:20 PM (April 6 & 20, in addition to our Sat open house March 28th).
🌇 Wednesday March 18th is the start of our NEW Level 2 (Brick Module C) at 7:30 pm And Level 3 (Brick Module D) Classes at 9:00 pm, with a Practica at 8:30 pm

1️⃣ To Progress from Foundations to Zouk Plus Class: (This will give you access to both Module A and B under Bruno & Raiza Monday Brick Classes) know and dance Foundations Movements with enough technique to COMFORTABLY lead and follow to the music and the corresponding Brazilian Zouk Timing.

2️⃣ To Progress from Zouk Plus to Level 2: (this will give you access to Bruno and Raiza’s Wednesdays Brick Module C) succeed at learning the movements taught during the Progress Check Class and Social dance portraying the **15 Zouk Plus Concepts listed below, while using movements taught in plus including but not limited to the ***15 Level 2 Foundations Listed below, as well as your original *22 Foundations Movements.

💝 Beginners Drop In Classes are meant to welcome ALL new Zouk students, as an introduction to Zouk, teaching only basics and their potential variations.
💗 Foundations Progressive is designed to build your repertoire of the Foundational movements that the rest of Zouk is built upon. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable dancing at any social with these movements and their musical variations.
💞 Plus Progressive is developed for students that are looking for more, like the body motion and head motion representative of Brazilian Zouk, as well as a variety of movements that start developing your musicality and variability in the dance.
💕 Plus Drop in is designed to allow variations to be built upon our foundations and Plus movement, using different connections and positions, as well as give those level students a place to learn even if they cannot dedicate a full month for the Progressive Plus Class.
💖 LEVEL 2 is designed to focus intensively on technique, musicality, drills, and connection in a small group and more intimate environment with a deeper understanding. We believe that a small group is one of the best approaches to effective learning and our ultimate goal is to help develop dancers to the next level. 🎯 LEVEL 2 will focus on intermediate+ concepts. Therefore, prerequisites must be met to qualify. 🎯
💘 LEVEL 3 is the continued development of intricate patterns, challenging head motion and body motion, and the ability to understand the dance so well, we can start CREATING movements to suit our needs, the music, the vibe, and the partnership.
