We’re returning to Home Bar again on March 15th with a night of death metal, doom and grind – all your main food groups covered. Glasgow’s UNMAKING will be making a return to the capital since our Xmas show back in 2024 – with a stunning new tape release “Absolute Immiseration” landing at the end of last year, featuring members of Anxiety, The Lowest Form, Amor and Franz Ferdinand. Think Burning Witch, Bolt Thrower, crusty Darkthrone, Thorrs Hammer and you’ll get an idea of what to expect.I’m also pleased to welcome the return of the capital’s finest doom metal titans, Of Spire & Throne, with what seems like their first hometown show in years – and with a spanking new line up, so expect some unrelenting sludge from these stalwarts. Opening the night will be local (by way of Greece) d-beat/grind duo Distill, they’ll be releasing their first recording immanently so here’s a great chance to catch them opening the proceedings with their own concoction of raging fast hardcore.
