Braw Gigs is back with our first show of the year on February 22nd and I’m very pleased to welcome Knifedoutofexistence and Geheimnisknecht to Home Bar in Tollcross, with some solid local support from R. Denham.
Knifedoutofexistence aka. Dean Lloyd Robinson, head honcho of the excellent Outsider Arts label, has been performing and releasing some of the finest industrial power electronics/harsh noise for over a decade now. Stemming from the vibrant hardcore/power violence scene of the 2010s, Dean’s been crafting nonstop tapes and extreme performances under his solo noise guise. Geheimnisknecht is the dark chain mailed sidequest of Richard Carson of Belfast bruisers Unyielding Love, incorporating elements of dungeon synth, harsh noise and black metal. Many of you will probably recognise R.Denham from countless DIY gigs in Edinburgh as frontman of grindcore power trio A.V.L. and as his solo experimental moniker, so get down the front early doors!
