New Braunfels-based musician Alex Meixner will open for Brave Combo for another evening of tunes at Summer in the Park!Since 1987, San Marcos residents and visitors have enjoyed a family-friendly music concert every Thursday evening during the summer months.
Summer in the Park continues to grow in popularity with excellent Texas musicians and a laid-back, fun atmosphere. Bring your lawn chair or a blanket and - if you'd like - bring an ice chest of your favorite beverages or you can support the local Boy Scouts by buying refreshments from their booth!
This event is produced by the San Marcos Performing Arts Association - a grassroots, all-volunteer, non-profit 501c3 organization - in partnership with the City of San Marcos.
Some pertinent park rules include:
-No smoking or e-cigarettes/inhaled vapor devices
-No glass containers
-No styrofoam containers
-Motorized vehicles prohibited beyond parking areas
-Animals are to remain restrained at all times
-All wildlife and habitat protected
-Parking in designated parking spaces only
-Parking for park users only
