Vancouver's Brass Camel is a rock band that defies labels, fusing deep-pocket funk, face-melting prog, and massive-harmony art rock. Their musicianship and work ethic have earned endorsements from Sabian, Rotosound UK, and Vater, and since releasing their debut album Brass in 2022, they’ve played over 150 shows, including three national Canadian tours, major festivals (Between the Peaks, Starbelly Jam, Wapiti), and stages like Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom, Vogue Theatre, and a Toronto headliner at the historic Longboat Hall. In 2024, their cover of Sabrina Carpenter’s Please Please Please on Musora’s Covers Challenge took off on YouTube, drawing over 700,000 views. Their sophomore album Camel (spring 2024) brought international press, reaction videos, and steady LP sales. While touring, the band began recording their third LP at Uxbridge's pastoral Chalet Studio with Kevin Comeau of Crown Lands co-producing. Mixed by the legendary Terry Brown (Rush, Hendrix, The Who, Blue Rodeo), this upcoming release (April 2026) marks a bold leap in songwriting, distilling Brass Camel’s road-forged sound into something entirely their own.
