But they didn't stop there. The band fearlessly championed the #DontMuteDC movement, fearlessly confronting challenges that threatened to silence their free-spirited outdoor performances.
In January 2018, destiny smiled upon them when they triumphed in an Instagram contest, earning the prestigious opportunity to open for the legendary Lalah Hathaway at the magnificent Warner Theater in Washington D.C. This pivotal moment propelled them onto the professional stage, setting in motion a whirlwind of unforgettable performances. Since then, The Experience Band & Show has graced almost every iconic venue, club, and theater in the city, honing their craft and captivating audiences with their undeniable prowess.
But their impact goes far beyond the confines of traditional venues. The Experience Band & Show lives and breathes music in all its glorious forms, masterfully bridging gaps and bringing diverse people together. Located at the revered 14th and U Street Northwest, in front of the legendary Reeves Center, this "club without walls" has become a symbol of community and connection.
