About this Event

The Brant Land Trust Public Lecture Series concludes with a talk by Gerald Tetreault of Environment and Climate Change Canada's Water and Science Technology Division, "Assessing the effects of multiple stressors in the Grand River Watershed"; presented in collaboration with the Laurier Institute for Water Science, Wilfrid Laurier University.

Drawing from his team's research in the Grand River watershed, Gerald will discuss how wastewater discharge can disrupt fish biology, how major treatment plant upgrades are resulting in measurable ecological recovery, and how new methods and tools are being integrated to better understand and protect aquatic life.
