Scot Sustad, Co-Founder of Brands for Better and leader of our Community Team, will share why community matters more than ever in a world shaped by AI, automation, and global uncertainty.
Scot believes that communities united by shared values and purpose are one of the most powerful forces on earth, and he speaks from a deeply personal lens. He’ll also unveil the 2026 vision for the Brands for Better Community Meetups and what lies ahead!
Expect a night that sparks personal insight, deeper connection, and renewed excitement for the year ahead.
Outside his Brands for Better volunteer commitments, Scot is a serial entrepreneur and currently the Co-Founder and Head of People & Product at Bureau.

Tickets are by donation, and free for BFB Volunteers. Donations are appreciated, and will help with the costs associated with hosting this event, and support both the Beaumont Studios and Brands for Better's ongoing good work as a not-for-profits in Vancouver.

At each Meet Up, we have 3-minute "How can we help" pitches. Individuals and organizations doing impactful work in the community use these short pitches to share about their initiative and how the audience and Brands for Better network can help them.
The goal is to raise awareness of great things happening in our city, provide access to our network for volunteers and resources, and tap into our individual and brand networks to amplify the needs to the community at large.
Please note, "How Can We Help" pitches are not intended to be used as a way to drive fundraising for your intiative.
Space is limited to 2 pitches per event.
Accessibility needs.
Accessibility needs, as requested at time of sign up, will be accommodated to the best of our ability. Upon request, we can help with wheelchair access and accomodate requests for unobstructed views, and keep volunteers on hand to support in whatever way we can. This in-person event will be available in English only.
