A practical session for SMEs on building brand clarity—helping define who you are, and what sets you apart to support confident growth
About this Event

Build a Strong Brand Through Clarity

Strong brands don’t happen by accident — they’re built on clarity. This practical and insightful session is designed to help businesses cut through the noise and understand what brand really means, beyond logos and colour palettes.

You’ll learn how getting the fundamentals right makes everything else easier and more effective — from customer service and marketing to sales and long‑term growth. Through clear, actionable guidance, this session helps you define who you are as a business, who you’re for, and how to confidently position yourself in a competitive market.

In this session, you’ll discover how to:

  • Understand why clarity matters more than just looking good
  • Clearly define your mission, vision and values — and use them effectively
  • Identify and focus on your ideal target audience and their real needs
  • Find what truly differentiates your business and sets you apart
  • Create a powerful one‑sentence brand positioning statement you can share publicly
  • Develop a simple brand manifesto to guide decisions and drive consistency

Whether you’re starting out or refining an existing brand, this session will give you practical tools and frameworks you can apply immediately to build a stronger, more confident brand.

This event will be led by Duncan Burgess. Duncan, is a brand strategist and the founder of Totally Harmless and Rebel Lemon, helping businesses get clear on who they are and what makes them different. He’s known for a practical, down‑to‑earth approach to brand strategy, cutting through the jargon to give businesses simple tools they can actually use.

A light breakfast will be available from 8.15am and parking is free on site.

This event is brought to you in partnership with Belfast City Council and the Connected fund.
