Welcome to Albert's Songwriters Showcase, where we'll be celebrating incredible original talent with two brilliant and very different acts.Kicking off the night, we have the catchy and upbeat Brains For Breakfast. singer Andy is known for his stripped-back indie vibes and his knack for getting the entire audience singing along. With a sound perfect for fans of Frank Turner, Ed Sheeran, and George Ezra, his performance is guaranteed to be a feel-good highlight.
Then, we're turning things up a notch with the powerful John Cubbin Band. This rock-solid trio of experienced musicians delivers electrifying original blues and rock that will keep you dancing. With legendary guitar licks and a driving rhythm section, if you love the sounds of Clapton or Frampton, you are in for a real treat.

Brains For Breakfast is an acoustic music act known for stripped back catchy and upbeat lyrics. Singer Andy is known for collaborating with musicians, rappers and will get the audience singing along to his songs, particularly the song “Guitar Keyboard, Ukulele and Melodica”
He has played on tours across the UK, Europe and will be returning to Toronto this summer. Expect acoustic / Indie vibes for fans of Frank Turner, Ed Sheeran, George Ezra.
