About this Event
The Bracknell Forest Community Climate Summit returns for 2026!
Organised by Bracknell Forest Community Climate Action (BFCCA) with support from Bracknell Forest Council and sponsorship from Easthampstead Park Hotel, the summit will bring together residents, community groups, and local organisations to share progress, spark ideas, and celebrate practical climate action across the borough.
Feel free to drop in at a time that suits you! The keynote and two quick-fire talk sessions will be repeated in the afternoon and evening.
Keynote - Find out about the activities of BFCCA and the summit sponsor, Easthampstead Park Hotel.
Quick-fire talks: Everyday climate action - Hear from local residents about what theyβre doing to decarbonise their homes, travel more sustainably, support nature, and reduce their waste.
Quick-fire talks: Local organisations and sustainability - Presentations by Parish and Town Councils, Crowthorne Reduce Our Waste (CROW), University of Reading (Climate Ambassadors), and the Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
Marketplace - There will also be stalls throughout the event where you can visit, offering information on local sustainability activities and initiatives you can get involved in. This will include a Dr Bike stall where you can get your own bike checked over and fixed for FREE!
Tea and coffee and refreshments will be available - please help us cut waste by bringing your own reusable cup.
Travelling to the venue by bus, train, on foot, or by bike is encouraged where possible. The Kerith Centre is a 10-minute walk from Bracknell train station, the bus station and the centre of town. Please be aware that there is only a small bike rack available at the venue. Parking at the venue is limited to disabled users only. If you are driving to the event, please park in the Braccan Walk car park, which is a 10-minute walk from the venue, and consider lift-sharing using the Mobilityways app.
