About this Event
Let Your Creative Spirit Bloom This Spring!
This 10-week ceramics course introduces students to foundational techniques in both hand-building and wheel throwing. Students will learn how to prepare clay, throw basic forms on the wheel, and construct hand-built elements such as handles or spouts while creating a functional water carafe with a matching cup. The project will be glazed and fired by Week 6-7, allowing the final weeks to focus on surface decoration techniques including image transfer, sgraffito, and texture. This course is ideal for beginners or students looking to strengthen their ceramic fundamentals in a supportive studio environment.
