Strikes for Little Lives: Bowling for Babies
Get ready for a fun-filled day at the bowling, laughter and community at the annual Bowling for Babies Tournament in support of March of Dimes! Join the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. - Iota Nu Lambda Chapter and the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. - Tau Sigma Zeta Chapter as we roll strikes and spares to support healthier families in the Central Valley.
Whether you're a seasoned bowler chasing that perfect game or someone who bowls strictly for the pizza and bragging rights, this event welcomes families, friends, coworkers, and community teams.
Come enjoy a day filled with friendly competition, community connection, vendors, prize drawings and a cause that truly matters.

Bowling Tournament Rules
The Players
Teams shall consist of four players.
The Match
Black Infant Health Families Bowl From 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Competition bowl begins at 2:30 PM
Each match consists of two full games, playing all ten frames per game.
Team overall scores will be posted as each game concludes.
Rules
Each team will bowl two full games (ten frames per game) as a team.
If a team does not have the required number of players, they may:
•Matched with other individuals or,
• Forfeit participation in the team tournament
Please note: registration fees are non-refundable for participants who do not attend or choose not to bowl as individual participants.
If a team member arrives late and no substitute is available, the team may skip the absent member until they arrive. Upon arrival, the bowler may make up the missed frames.
Under no circumstances may someone not listed on the team roster bowl in place of the missing team member.
If the missing team member does not arrive by the end of the 5th frame of the first game, the team will forfeit team competition and will be considered individual bowlers.
All other standard bowling rules apply.
Tie Breaker
In the event of a tie, each team will select one team member to bowl three frames (not games).
The bowler with the highest score wins the tournament for their team.
End of Tournament Requirement
At least one member from each team must be present at the end of the tournament.
Failure to have a team member present will result in disqualification.
Lane Etiquette
To ensure everyone has a great time:
• Wait for the bowler to your right to deliver their ball if you approach the lane at the same time
• Remain behind the bowler while they are delivering their ball
• Bowl only on your assigned lane
• Observe the foul line and play fair
• Do not bowl in street shoes
• Do not use someone else's bowling ball without permission
• Be mindful of language and sportsmanship
• Be ready when it is your turn to bowl
