Join us for the Bowens Island Smoke & Shell, a classic Lowcountry gathering filled with oysters, barbecue, beer, and good times—all in support of a bold mission.

This year, Courser Racing is sending two Special Operations veterans across the ocean on an epic rowing expedition. But this is more than just a race.

About Courser Racing
Founded by Special Operations veterans, Courser Racing is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans as they transition out of military service. Through ocean rowing expeditions, mental health resources, and a strong community of peers, we help veterans rediscover purpose, resilience, and camaraderie. These extreme endurance challenges provide an outlet for growth, teamwork, and healing—pushing both mental and physical limits while forging bonds that last a lifetime.

🔥 What’s on the menu?

• Freshly roasted oysters
• BBQ from local pitmasters Will Andrews (Rolling Bones BBQ) & Stephen Christopher (One Oak BBQ)
• Ice-cold beer to wash it all down (each ticket includes two drinks)

🚣‍♂️ Come check out the boat!
We’ll have the Rannoch RX45 on-site for a special show-and-tell, so you can see up close the vessel that will carry our veterans across the ocean.
